Review of Severance (2006) by Sara S — 13 Feb 2010
Funny, minimalistic survival horror...with a bad-ass woman. by minimalistic, I don't mean cheap, I mean they don't overdo anything. no complicated, circuitous, or nonsensical reasons for a killing spree.
all of the characters' actions make complete sense in the context of what kind of person they are. no long, drawn-out torture scenes. it had sort of a The Office (british version) sense of humor, even after the scary stuff starts.
