Despite its admirable cast, The Seventh Son is a jumble of trite stories about witches and dragons. Not even the CGI was pleasing having been in a fantasy world with plenty of opportunities to create wonder.
Alas, this movie is another failure at what is supposedly a successful fantasy adventure.
