I watched this film with the expectations of being half as good as the books that I love. This film doesnt even bare the slightest resemblence of the book and the storyline is completly confusing even for someone who has read every book in the wardstone chronical series countless times.

I was utterly disappointed and voiced my opinions to Joseph Delaney, although it didn't seem like he has any input in the film. The cast was completly wrong and thomas and alice sould have been near enough 16.

There is so much which is incorrect that I feel that no-one even had read any of the books before turning it into a film script. I wish this film would be reborn, following the storyline of the books.
