Review of Seven Years in Tibet (1997) by Aleksi L — 26 Feb 2008
Started a little slow, but picked up after a while. The cinematography is gorgeous and the story of Harrer's Bhuddist character transformation via his adventures and friend ship with the Dalai Lama compelling.
I have to say that Brad Pitt's performance in this movie separated him in my mind from the Ben Afflecks and Tom Cruises of this world. Pitt can actually act.
