Review of Seven Years Bad Luck (1921) by Joel A — 05 Jul 2011
Linder is one of those talents deserving wider recognition. He stretches a string of gags into a very entertaining feature that combines a great deal of dexterity, a great deal of brains and nerve (best use of blackface I've seen in a long time), and a strong supporting cast.
There's a mirror sequence here as good as Duck Soup.
