Review of Seven Samurai (1954) by Stan R — 16 Mar 2011
By the time I finished watching it, I was surprised to see that it ran over 3 and a half hours. Very cool characters. I think I read somewhere that this was the first movie to have a group of specialists assembled to do something difficult.
Also Kurosawa's DP was amazing, half of the film I was admiring the beautiful shots and cinematography.
