Review of Seven Samurai (1954) by Nik M — 21 Oct 2012
Seven Samurai must be Kurosawa's best, next to Rashomon. It combines such deep elements of public and moral service in a very samurai setting (as it usually goes with Kurosawa's style). All seven samurai are distinct and provide great insight to the incredibly shot sequences (the finale, especially) that, in all, become memorable.
