Review of Seven Samurai (1954) by Ibraheem M — 28 Oct 2014
Almost 3.5 h long but I never feel like it's a long film as there is almost no slack or unnecessarily elongated scenes. It's all beautifully orchestrated to get you involved and care about the main characters, and time is also used to give an understanding of the fact that this drama actually spans a long period of time.
I've seen this film many times, and I still get thoroughly absorbed and I am quite beat from all the tension when the film is over. A classic that I will see many times more.
