Review of Seven Pounds (2008) by Mateusz P — 27 Jul 2011
Love it. It takes a long time to understand it and what is going on, but that makes you think, try to figure it out, look for references like with the title itself. I don't want to give it away, so just look it up.
It's based on a play by William Shakespeare. Most people seem to hate that they don't get to be told a cookie cutter story from the very beginning and just seeing the linear plot. The ending is also absolutely devastating.
It makes me want to rant but also emboldens me to guess and question if I could go through the same thing. I'd like to think I can. I guess thinking is too much for them?
