âSeven Poundsâ? is a film in 2008, directed by Gabriele Muccino. This film was released in theaters in the United States and Canada by Columbia Pictures on December 19, 2008. Most of the film was shot in Los Angeles, Pasadena, California and Malibu.

This film is performed by Will Smith, Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson, Michael Ealy, Barry Pepper and more. This film made me cry many times, and became my favorite.

Tim Thomas (Will Smith) lives in a cool house near the beach alone. He had a big accident before. In past, he was driving the car with Sarah Jenson (Robinee Lee) who is his fiancee. His car crashed into the bus, and seven strangers and Sarah were killed by this accident. Next year, Tim quit his job which is aeronautical engineer, and he donated parts of his lung to his brother, Ben Thomas (Michael Ealy), an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) employee. IRS is the revenue service of the United States federal government. Six months later, Tim donated part of his liver to Holly who is a social service worker. And later, Tim started to find some people who are good people for donating from him. Then he donated a kidney to George who is a junior coach and a bone marrow to a young boy named Holly. I could not understand why he wants to donate so much even after he had an accident.

Two weeks before he dies, he meets Holly and asks if she knows someone who needs help from someone. She introduced Connie Tepos who lived with a violent boyfriend. Tim moved out of his house, and started to live in a local motel with his pet box jellyfish. I thought this is strange because I have never seen a person who has the pet, box jellyfish. One night, Connie contacts Tim and he gives the keys of the house to her and promised to lot her time that. She moved in with her two children. That scene was rather impressive.

He steals his brotherâ(TM)s credentials, and acts us his brother, Ben. He checks out candidates for his two final donations. The first person is Ezra Tuner (Woody Harrelson) who is a blind salesman, who plays the piano. Tim calls Ezra Turner, and he was annoying him at work to check if he is the person who is angry soon. Ezra remains calm, and Tim decides he is worthy to a donation from him. It was kind of complicated action.

Then he contacts Emily Posa (Rosario Dawson) who is a self-employed greeting card printer who has a heart condition, and a rare blood type. He spends time with her. He is helping her garden and fixing her rare Heidelberg Windmill press. He begins to fall in love with her, and he decides to donate to her because her condition has worsened, he needs to make his donation.

Ben who is Timâ(TM)s brother follows him at Emily's house. Tim returns Ben's IRS credentials. After the dinner with Emily, Tim leaves her sleeping, and he returns to the motel. This scene described is so real.

He fills the bathtub with ice water to preserve his vital organs, climbs in, and does suicide by putting his box jellyfish into the water with him. His friend Dan acts to ensure that his organs are donated to Emily and Ezra. Ezra receives his corneas, and Emily receives his heart. It was made me cry most in this film. Will Smith was very good acting here so I could feel the action was more real. Afterwards, Emily meets Ezra at his concert in a park, and they begin to talk. They do not know now. That meaning is so sad and so happy. I thought.

âSeven Poundsâ? is all about the relationships between Tim and these people, especially the girl called Emily. Now it will depend on your outlook as to whether this is an emotionally powerful film or you feel it is manipulative.

I have not even hinted about the hidden movie in his film. The movie revealed this at the important point. Some people will be emotional when they find it out. Acter and actress were good to describe their feelings. This film is my best movie ever.
