Not the best film of 2008 but definitely not the worst. My problem is with the predictability of this film, how safe it is played out. When Dawson's character is handed a pager for when her donor heart is available you can immediately guess that as Smith's character dies there will be a shot of the pager beeping.
.. The plot is interesting (albeit a bit of a downer) but the cast is strong; it would have been interesting to see this film played out a little less mainstream and commercial.
