Review of Seven Pounds (2008) by Chris D — 10 Sep 2012
I can't give this movie five stars because I hated the fact that this movie rips your heart out, but Will Smith deserves an Oscar Nom for this one. Rosario Dawson alslo earned my respect--she did a pretty good job.
The first 10 seconds of the movie suck you in and you spend about 45 minutes trying to figure out the direction it is taking you. When you do figure out the direction you don't want it to happen and you wish there was a turn of events that would give you an ending you would want, but it does turn out to be a very powerful ending.
Enjoy life to its fullest with those you love.
