Review of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954) by Hannah D — 25 Aug 2012
This has something of a Western feel to it, which could be offputting to haters of that genre (I'm one of them.), but the song and dance routines are an absolute delight, my favourites being "Bless your beautiful hide", "Social Dance", "Sobbin' women" and "June Bride".
The actual storyline is okay, but it's the music that makes this really entertaining!
