Review of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954) by Badgerpaws M — 07 Oct 2012
This makes my top three movies. The choreography is amazing, the music is catchy and knows how corny it is, and basks in it with a sense of playfulness. I first saw this movie at age 7 with my mother, and at 26, it hasn't lost its luster.
It's a movie that men can get into-- not just a chick flick. When I showed it to my alpha-male boyfriend, he was actually impressed by the whole thing. It's macho enough for the whole family, and believe me, their attention won't wander.
