Review of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954) by R. R — 20 Jun 2008
I first saw this movie on PBS when I was a little kid. I instantly fell head over heels for the film and can honestly say that I love this movie so much. I love the singing. I love the dancing. I love Jane Powell and Howard Keel (they were just too adorable, and their characters are just right for each other).
The Pontipee brothers are a bit naive; but that does not stop them from being handsome and entertaining. I can watch this film over and over again and never tire of it. My favorite song is 'Lonesome Polecat'; but, truthfully, I love them all.
