The beginning was brilliant- perfectly executed suspense-building and mood. I loved the atmosphere-enhancing external shots: rustling weeds, spiders, etc. The ending was unsatisfying but maybe because I've seen too many horror movies.
To the writer's credit, I didn't start figuring out what was going on until only about 20 minutes was left in the film.
