Is (was) there a scarier location to shoot in than Danvers State Lunatic Asylum just outside of Boston? I think not. Too bad they demolished most of it in 06'. Caruso gives a good performance here in a well crafted script that parcels out the information in a most satisfying fashion.
Nice supporting work by Paul Guilfoyle and Josh Lucas. A testament that crafting a true scare pic doesn't require piles of money (Bob Zemeckis take note.).
