Something's not right here.

A group of workers are hired to clean an old hospital of asbestos. Shortly after beginning the job, they hear a tale of a patient named Mary with some psychological issues that was poorly cared for and ultimately led to the demise of the hospital. The hospital might not be the only thing Mary kills as the workers try to focus on their job and not the creepy things happening around them.

"I don't want anyone hanging around this place after dark.".

Brad Anderson, director of Transsiberean, The Machinist, Happy Accidents, The Call Midnight Sun, and Vanishing on 7th Street, delivers Session 9. The storyline for this picture is straightforward for an abandoned insane asylum/hospital picture. The acting was just okay and the cast includes David Caruso, Josh Lucas, Stephen Gevedon, Peter Mullan, and Larry Fessenden.

"Just because you say you don't want something doesn't mean you don't want something.".

I grabbed this film randomly when it was added to HBOGO this week. I had never heard of it (which is surprising since I enjoyed the Machinist and Transsiberian). This was below average and did not contain enough horror elements. I actually would only watch this early in Halloween season when you're in the mood to start getting ready for the horror season.

"Try not to break anything, Mullet Head.".

Grade: C-.
