Review of Session 9 (2001) by Randy P — 06 Feb 2014

I knew I had seen this one before but after reading others' reviews of The Devil's Chair, I had seen a few refer to this movie as being the similar (better) version -- so I decided to watch it again because I didn't think The Devil's Chair was anything like this.

and actually, I still don't really think they compare... I mean, yeah they've got the same sort of concept goin on, but they are two very different executions of it. both are well crafted, though this one may be a little more "family friendly", if you will.

but the ending of The Devil's Chair completely took me off guard where Session 9 is pretty predictable. although I do really like the "sessions" in this film -- mental hospital patients are intriguing.

haha, look at this, after I say I really don't compare the two movies, I spent my whole review comparing them... #yolo.
