Review of Serpico (1973) by Edgar C — 17 Sep 2009
An audacious film by Sidney Lumet, Serpico has managed to establish itself as a classic. Going beyond the genre of political drama, the film starring Pacino's first fantastic leading role concluded with an extraordinary outcome that would just help American audiences to see what preceeded Dog Day Afternoon (1975), principally because of the film's elaborate screenplay. Great tense odyssey.
83/100.
