One of my favorit movies whit Al Pacino..A young, confident police recruits - Serpico (Al Pacino) - get a job in the police force during the late 60's. He refuses to accept the illegal protection money and therefore fall out of favor with their united and powerful colleagues in the New York Police Department.
His determined quest to uncover the system and perform their job in an honest way, with disastrous consequences for his life and puts himself in danger. "Serpico" is filmed on location among New York's crime-ridden streets and deliver scathing criticism of corruption in the police force and the system's flaws.
