Review of Serpico (1973) by Ken S — 11 May 2008
Pacino gives a great performance as a hippie cop who tries to bring down corruption in the NYPD.
Lumet turns in a very realistic and touching (if now cliche') story of a man standing up against the system. Definitely a pre-cursor to Prince of the City.
