This was a very good movie about the true life story of New York cop Frank Serpico who takes on the corruption inside the police departments. This is a very dark and gritty look at the world of the police in New York.
You can tell that Serpico was a good cop that just wanted to do the right thing but due to the corruption he had very little help. Al Pacino's performance in this as Serpico is excellent. He deserved the Oscar nod for his performance.
Also good performances by the rest of the cast. A interesting story and characters that makes for a good movie. Well worth the watch.
