Review of Serpico (1973) by Nash A — 13 Jun 2012
Serpico is a classic movie about police corruption in New York City. The story was interesting, but I times I felt bored watching the movie and the plot was a bit confusing and hard to follow at times.
However, the entire movie is lifted by Al Pacino's stellar performance. This famous performance is known as the first of numerous powerhouse performances by Pacino. Because of Pacino, the movie works very well and it kept my attention throughout the most of movie.
At times, Serpico was even though-provoking and gripping. I would strongly recommend this movie to fans of classic movies and to Al Pacino fans.
