Review of Serious Moonlight (2009) by Somo N — 17 Mar 2011
Oh Meg Ryan (The Women), is there no lackluster romantic comedy that you won't sign on for? Look, I buy the fact that you're, well, crazy, and that you were typecast as such, but this movie sees you stooping to new lows when trying to go head to head with the much more talented and beautiful Kristen Bell (Couples Retreat).
And she's barely in the movie! Sure, the movie has some very funny bits - none of which really include Justin Long (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel) - but this is just the latest film in your repertoire to leave me wanting.
You may have been cute and bubbly back in the day, but face it honey, you're kind of washed up. I'm not really trying to be mean, but it's pretty much the truth. I look forward to seeing you on a cable series before you know it.
Okay, I won't watch whatever you're on, but here's to steady work.
