Review of Serious Moonlight (2009) by Maria M — 28 Feb 2010

This had the makings of such a great out-of-the-box movie right until the moment when the writers decided to donate their brains to a better cause somewhere half-way through the movie, where it changed to a sappy and cliched romantic comedy:/.

I am somewhat disappointed but I guess my expectations were simply too high...but they were raised by the first part of the movie, which was really hilarious and unexpectedly logical in the absurdity of Meg Ryan duck-taping her husband to the toilet;).

As for Meg Ryan, she was one of the best points of this movie. She conveyed just the right combination of tough, tender, a little desperate and slightly more than little crazy;).
