I've never really been a fan of john water's work- too kitsch and amateurish for my taste. However, this is probably my favourite of his. it's a kind of ironic, dark,slasher comedy (which me like).
A rainy saturday afternon film. Turner is the best thing in this- she uses her instruments of mayhem with such menace and conviction, and humour. Good things.
