Review of Serial Mom (1994) by Adam K — 24 Mar 2008
John waters has a way of making loveably grotesque films. getting to watch kathleen turner play a psychopathic suburban mother was quite entertaining on so many levels. the ways in which she committs the murders are also quite hysterical.
I can never look at a leg of lamb the same. this is defenitley an entertaining satire on the "model citizens are never what they seem to be" issues we learn about everyday. the extremely profane telephone call is also a classic scene.
