Review of Serial Mom (1994) by Joey H — 14 Jan 2008
A helluva lot more fascinating than Cry-Baby, but then again so is counting how many clothes pins your neighbor has. My history with this film goes back to being 9 and wishing my parents would let me watch it when they rented it. They didn't, and surprisingly that actually stopped me.
Hardly recommendable really, but you get to see Kathleen Turner impale a man while he's taking a piss. The fact the film was shot and scored like a family film makes it all the better.
