This is an amazing film showing the life of one of America's greatest heroes. A man who fully showed what our country is about by having God and country first. Wonderfull acting by Gary Cooper who was handpicked by the real Alvin York.
Walter Brennan also delivers a great performance. A film that should stand out in film history as one of the all time greats this definitely deserves its title as a classic.
