Review of Sergeant York (1941) by Baltazar S — 22 Apr 2008
This movie is a classic and in my collection of favorite war movies. It reminds me some of my own father who was a "Hillbilly" and joined the Army. The movie reminds me of the stories he told me about what it was like in those days being a poor farmer from the mountains and how the Army was in many ways a great luxury because they fed you well and gave you clothes, shoes, and even paid you.
