I don't understand why it got so many bad reviews. I enjoyed it all the way through and I didn't find it confusing. It's not apparent at first that it's sci-fi, but I don't see the problem with that.

My only complaint is that McConaughey takes off his clothes so many times. If you took a drink every time he took off his shirt you'd end up plastered. If you took a drink every time he exposes his butt you'd also be pretty squiffy. But they seem to get over that after the first half.
