Review of Serenity (2015) by Max G — 14 Apr 2012
After watching all 14 episodes of the phenomenal short-lived TV series "Firefly", this movie follow-up to that show (basically the "final 2-hour series finale") turns out to be an epic conclusion and a great sci-fi epic that resolves questions raised in the show about the origins of River Tam, the Reavers, and notably the real meaning of the resistance against the Alliance that served as the basis of the TV show.
Summer Glau as River kicks so much ass in this flick, and it all ends with an unexpected big bang.
