Review of Serenity (2015) by Cameron H — 01 Jan 2014
Though the film borrows elements from sci-fi classics like Blade Runner (see set design of futuristic Chinatown) and The Matrix (see unstoppable, Neo-like action of the character River), Serenity is a wild, day-fulfilling space western with great chemistry among the easily likable cast, and well concludes the all-too-short history of its TV show, Firefly.
