Being a fan of the series Firefly, this review may seem somewhat biased but Serenity is simply one of the best sci-fi films of all time. Fantastic writing and direction mixed with a brilliant cast and stunning visuals make this something extraordinary.
If you watch this as someone who is unaware of the tv show which it is based on, it will be a fun but sometimes confusing action sci-fi. If you love Joss Whedon and Firefly than this is ultimate perfection.
