The most intriguing thing about this movie going in for me was what did the title mean? Luckily, that question is answered for me. Fortunately going out, it was one of the best movies that I have ever seen.

John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale deliver some of the best chemistry on seen that I have ever seen. Which is remarkable given the limited time on screen that they share together. Fate is what holds everything together in this movie and the way that Director Peter Chelsom uses it is truly remarkable.

While frustrating because you care for these characters so much, the way that their fates entertwined I found extremely entertaining. The genre I would classify this as is a romantic comedy. Now unlike most movies in this genre, there was both romance and comedy.

I laughed several times and as mentioned before the romance is truly remarkable. All of the supporting cast does a great job with stand-out and laugh out loud performances by Jeremey Piven and Eugene Levy.

The situations I never felt were out of believability, which the movie benefits from. Every aspect of this movie works. With romantic comedies out today that are just okay, it's nice to see one that excels in every aspect.

Serendipity is absolutley one of the best movies I have ever seen and one of my favorite romantic comedies to date.
