Review of Serendipity (2001) by Dan B — 10 Nov 2011
The hopeless romantic in me just adored this movie. I couldn't help but feel on the level with Molly Shannon and Jeremy Piven (as the best friends of the main characters) while they stood next to John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale as they searched for eachother year after year.
And each barely missed opportunity of discovering how close they were to eachother was heart-wrenching and exciting. It all culminated in what we'd all hope to see and our hearts melt with a sign of relief.
Good fluffy stuff. Plus where else can you see John Corbett (obnoxiously) play a jazz flute?!
