Review of Serendipity (2001) by Treakiepop T — 23 Dec 2012
Pairing John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale, in a romantic comedy in which these two lovers are parted by the world of fate and destiny, "Serendipity" works on so many levels. With an amazing supporting cast in Jeremy Piven and Molly Shannon, not only is the humor spot-on, but the emotions are strong as well.
Continuously missing one another by fractions of a second, yet constantly thinking of each other, there is a chemistry built by these two proven actors that spans the distant created between them, to the point where the climax is just as emotional for us as it is for their characters.
"Serendipity" is without a doubt one of my all-time favorite romantic comedies.
