Review of Serendipity (2001) by Matt W — 26 Oct 2013
Charming, lovely and completely contrived.
There are moments throughout that will have you rolling your eyes, but there are so many moments that are hard not to get caught up in, and it actually has a few genuinely funny moments.
There is every cliché in the book, from leaving there love down to destiny to them both getting married, and they must find themselves again.
It is filmed well, and has some good performances. it's just a very likeable movie. And there's nothing that can't make me give it a positive review, as I enjoyed it thoroughly, but it is extremely contrived.
