Review of Serendipity (2001) by Girl-Melody L — 11 May 2014
The only reason I watched this movie is because it was the only one short enough to accommodate for the amount of time I had left while on the flight. I should have spent that time sleeping. Even by romantic comedy standards, Serendipity is painfully predictable, sloppily written and the two leads lack the charm or the chemistry to hold any of it together.
The romance is not one worth rooting for, and even the few laughs that one excepts from a rom com are missing. I remember this was remade into a Bollywood movie starring Shahid and Kareena Kapoor, glad I avoided that, and you should avoid this.
