These are some of the questions addressed in Séraphine, a movie that takes its time in showing the different facets of an artist that contemporary to Henri Rousseau and unfortunately got lost in the circunstances of WWI, and the general turmoil of the early 20th century.
With the most compelling performance of the year by Yolande Moreau, Séraphine is one of the finest films of the year.
