Review of Seraphim Falls (2007) by Ed D — 22 Jan 2008
An effective but criminally ignored Western starring Brosnan and Neeson, but most importantly Mother Nature. 3:10 to Yuma was a nice conventional romp, but its focus on action is contrasted here by use of the Western locales; deathly dry deserts and bitterly frosty forests.
This is something Yuma should have taken on board to achieve the full conventional approach, but the two Westerns have their own respective strengths. Some may find this a little hard to swallow, what with it slow pace, but give it a chance its a nicely entertaining little revenge flick.
