Review of Seraphim Falls (2007) by Tyler G — 12 May 2008
Sometimes I am in the mood for a western and this one starts strong. Brosnan gives a really intense performance physically and Neeson is less present but still strong as the pursuer.
Some bad things... it is pretty long for a chase movie and whenever the two antagonists meet, the scenes always seem disappointing and weak.
Interesting cameo for Anjelica Hueston towards the end. I my view, she was death, and tired of waiting she gives both men the means to destroy each other. I liked that!
The ending seems a little strange and I can see why people are disappointed with it. Overall though, the movie is worthwhile but there have been better westerns in the past few years.
