Based on a true story -"September 11, 1857 in an unspoiled valley of the Utah Territory-and in the name of God-120 men, women and children were savagely murdered. Who ordered the massacre, and why, has been hidden in a cloak of secrecy and conspiracy.

" This presents a look at religious fanaticism and how it can bring about unfathomable tradegies in the "name of God." This movie shows me that anything other than a real biblical based teacing can lead to destruction.

Misinterpretation and human nature reak havoc on these unsuspecting people. The fanatics portrayed here happen to be Mormons who have left the teachings of Christ and began following their self proclaimed "prophets and apostles," who believe they have received divine revelation from Jehovah God.

These folks do not preach the gospel as outlined in the synoptic gospels and stray far from the path of Christ. While this is not an indictment of current Mormonism - for the most part - it is a wake up call for us to seek Gods will for our lives based on a clear understanding of biblical truth rather than the words of mortal men who oftentimes mislead us.
