I must say I was expecting something dramatic to happen, and was both disappointed and relieved. It's a pity that as a result the statement seems half-arsed. But at the same time I'm SO glad it's not an Aussie version of "Kite Runner".

Some cliches can't be more suitable (like the contrast of the boys' "bedrooms"), but some are just too much (like the driving skills). But on a whole, more can be expected of Carstairs.
