Review of Sense and Sensibility (1995) by Sam F — 15 Feb 2009
This is about as good as any movie-length version of a Jane Austen novel can be. Emma Thompson has the amazing ability to portray WARMTH on screen--something I have never seen any other modern actress do (exept for the girls in the A&E Pride and Prejudice).
Is it possible? Could it be that a modern actress is playing a woman who is kind and strong??? Unbelievable!
