Review of Sense and Sensibility (1995) by Jenny D — 16 Mar 2009
I've seen this movie way too many times and love it still. It's a great depiction of Jane Austin's book and I think Winslet, Thompson and Rickman are definitely some of the great characters in this film.
Out of all the different Austin films, this is the best. The struggle for love for the Dashwood girls is a welcomed story for any hopeless romantic. Another chick flick...it is Austin after all. Mrs. Jennings and Sir John are a great comedy pair in this film.
