I'm so glad that I re-watched this! My goodness what an amazing film! The performances, go without saying... But the direction from Ang Lee, and the wonderful lighting -- obviously there, but so natural and unobtrusive! This is just a splendid piece.
*** I still like EMMA a little bit better, me thinks, but this film is also worth owning!
