Review of Sense and Sensibility (1995) by An-Chi C — 07 May 2009
One of my favorite romantic epics of all time. The entire cast is great, but I am particularly drawn to the Kate Winslet/Alan Rickman storyline. Rickman has an irresistible sweetness about him and Winslet has great spirit.
They are an unlikely match, but one that seems to be right for each other after all. I also have great appreciation for how intriguing the drama is, while remaining completely wholesome. I wish more movies were of this quality!
