Review of Sense and Sensibility (1995) by Nate B — 28 Aug 2009
Everything about this movie is perfect (except, perhaps, for the age of some of the actors, but they play their parts so well we won't mention that). Thompson's script does a great job of bringing out both the humour and the drama in Austen's work and the excellent writing is matched by the locations, costumes, cinematography and superb cast.
One of the best examples of period drama around.
